SOMALIA. 'Hubeyr' clan gives Baya'a to Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahideen

“Hubeyr” clan one of the Ansar clans in the Islamic Wilayah of Bay and Bakool gave Baya’a to Harakat Al-Shabaab Al-Mujahideen, the Baya’a was given in the city of “Raamadeey” and attended by leaders and elders headed by the sheikh of the clan (Occas Adam Salad Noor Othman), and the movement was represented in the Baya’a by sheikh Ali Mahmud Ragi the official spokesman and several officials from the office of Policy and Wialyahs, sheikh Ali Dirri spoke in the Baya’a celebration in the city of “Raamadeey” and he confirmed that this Baya’a comes within the Baya’as that are presented by the clans to the movement and he also confirmed that all the clans that have given Baya’a before have fulfilled their vow, and sheikh Ali Dirri clarified that the Baya’a is part of the methodology of the prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the text of the Baya’a was as follows:

“You give me Baya’a I the representative of Abu Zubair to listen and obey in energy and laziness, and to spend in hardship and ease on preference on ourselves and not dispute over the rule with its right people except when you see a clear kufr which you have for it a prove and to promote virtue and forbid evil, and implement the Sharia of Allah, execute the Hudud, do jihad against the Kuffar and apostates, and not to give shelter to any run away from a murder or crime and to say the truth not fearing the blam of the blamers, and to support Islam in your land and defend it from what you defend yourselves, wives and children as much as possible and your reward will be from Allah”, the Baya’a was first taken from the representatives of the clan one after another then the Baya’a was taken from collectively.

In the celebration the sheikh of the clan spoke saying that the clan gave Baya’a before and this Baya’a is confirming the previous one and he said that this Baya’a comes to seek the satisfaction of Allah and he recommended the movement to continue to hold these meetings with the tribe and he also said: “If you said to us enter to war or if you order us to enter ambushes and participate in fighting, then we are ready”.
