Council of Europe condemn Russia's crimes in persecuting non-violent separatism and jamming the Kavkaz Center

Publication time: 23 June 2012, 15:27

According to media reports, the Venice Commission, which represents the international law, prevailing over the Russian one, designated as crimes Russia's political persecution by the Putin's gang the FSB of the people peacefully calling for independence from Russia of their countries, which the KGB butchers characterize as "calls for violation of the constitutional order and the integrity of the state" and sends the offenders to Gulag.

On June 20, 2012, the European Commission for Democracy Through Law attached to the Council of Europe (Venice Commission) published "The Opinion" on Putin's "law" # 114 "On Combating Extremist Activity" (Opinion on the Federal Law on Combating Extremist Activity of the Russian Federation / / European Commission For Democracy Through Law (Venice Commission). 2012. 20 June).

The document was adopted at the 91st plenary session of the Commission on June 15-16, 2012.

The document notes that the wording in the Russian law "On Combating Extremist Activity" is too vague and indistinct, especially in terms of basic concepts - such as "extremism", "extremist activity", "extremist organization" and "extremist materials" - and there is a too broad space for interpretation and enforcement, which leads to the tyranny of Putin's KGB punishers.

The Commission emphasizes that peaceful protection of the right of the nations for self-determination (i.e. for independence from Russia. KC) is not to be considered as a crime, but instead, it should be treated as a legitimate expression of personal views.

Regarding the definition of "arousing social, racial, ethnic or religious hatred", the Commission notes that "academic texts or political discussion that do not pursue the aim of inciting hatred do not constitute a criminal offence". However, the definitions, included in the current version of the Russian law, do not imply a connection with violence or calls for it, which leads to many abuses of the anti-extremist legislation by Putin's punishers.

The phrase "propaganda of the exceptional nature, superiority or deficiency of persons on the basis of their social, racial, ethnic, religious or linguistic affiliation or attitude to religion", allows the Russian punishers to consider as extremist any religious teaching, aimed at proving the superiority of a particular world view. This can lead to the restriction of freedom of conscience and freedom of assembly.

The definition of "extremist activity" should only refer violent religious extremism, the Commission says.

The Venice Commission concludes: arbitrary application of the Russian "law on combating extremist" could impose severe restrictions of the fundamental rights and freedoms as established in the European Convention on Human Rights (in particular Articles 6, 9, 10 and 11) and infringe the principles of legality, necessity and proportionality.

It is to be noted from our side that the decision of the Venice Commission on Russia automatic makes it illegal the proclaiming of the Kavkaz Center as "an extremist website" by a KGB "court" in Moscow on September 12, 2011.

The Kavkaz Center is an exclusively peaceful news agency, conducting its operations with peaceful, non-violent means on the Internet.

Moreover, as we have earlier reported, the KGB court scribble is legally null and void because Russian "courts" have absolutely no jurisdiction for proclaiming foreign (Swedish in our case) media outlet like the Kavkaz Center "extremist" or equally "non-extremist".

The criminal proclaiming the Kavkaz Center as an "extremist website" by a criminal Moscow "court" gave the green light for criminal Russian punishers to ban us for viewing in the Mafia State of Russia and start the criminal jamming of us on the illegal "Russia's territory", consisting of about 100 colonial and oppressed countries striving for independence.

As for the cyber-terrorism by the Russian gang of the KGB-FSB in the form of continuous DDoS attacks, i.e. the interference by the KGB into the basic human rights of free speech, and seeking and getting information by the citizens of the free countries around the globe (Russia does not belong to such countries, it never belonged and will never belong by its very man-hating nature), is a serious criminal offense in itself under the laws of all countries of the world, including Russia.
