Katyn 2. Polish Investigation Commission: ''By killing Polish elite, Russia declared war on Poland''

Publication time: 21 April 2012, 12:19
Polish opposition newspaper Dziennik reports on further developments around the events surrounding the Russian terrorist attack on Polish presidential plane on April 10, 2010:

"When the elite is killed, when athe head of state is killed, this is the declaration of war", said (the chairman of a Parliamentary Commission on the Investigation of the Smolensk Disaster - KC) Antoni Macierewicz at a meeting with residents of the Polish town of Krosno. He also expects more attacks on Poland to be carried out in "a year or two, or in five years".

"I understand what you want from me, you want that I present the results of our commission. And you're right. Unfortunately, it is true that, except for the viewers of the (Catholic - KC) TV station Trvam and the listeners of the (Catholic - KC) radio station Radio Maria, many people have no access to this information", began his presentation Antoni Macierewicz.

During his meeting with the residents of Krosno in Capuchin Monastery, the Polish parliamentarian told how it was possible to create the Parliamentary Commission, and why these theories are not taken seriously.

"With brutal attacks from the media and politicians they are trying to forbid the people to think, to speak and to investigate the true cause of these events that really happened in the inhuman country (of Russia - KC). You cannot even open your mouth without being immediately attacked with slander and mockings", complained Mr. Macierewicz. He pointed out that the crash was not accidental".

"There was no case in the past history that a country's president died in a plane crash. There were two cases, but in both of them, a deliberate attack is assumed. But there was no case that when a country's president died accidentally", Mr. Macierewicz said.

The member of Polish Parliament from the Law and Justice party said the conclusions of both Polish and Russian commissions were worthless, since they refused to consider the thesis of an explosion from the very start.

"How else can we call the situation where the entire elite of the country is killed, and the nation is beheaded. It can only call it a declaration of war. Even if the next attack is delayed for a year or two, or for five years, this is the declaration of war. I say this with full awareness of the consequences", he said.

He said that the cause of the crash was not a collision with a birch tree, but two explosions on board the plane, that is that Polish President Lech Kaczynski had been assassinated.

What could be the reasons for this terrorist attack? Lech Kaczynski was to ensure that we opposed the Russian imperialism not on the river Bug river, not on the river Vistula, but in Georgia, in the Caucasus. This was the result of his effective and comprehensive policy, Mr. Macierewicz said, adding that the Polish president was a big problem for Russia.

At the end of his speech, he called on Polish prime minister Donald Tusk to explain why "the evidence of the Smolensk crime" had been concealed for two years. Mr. Macierewicz's speech was received with a long standing ovation".

The full text of the one hour-long speech by Antoni Macierewicz (in Polish) in Krosno can be viewed and listened to at a video, uploaded on YouTube, on the following link.
